Went to hang out and have some bites. Sat at the bar with 2 friends. Was able to bring my food there and have plenty space Bartender was kind enough to allow us to charge our phone behind the bar. Very social and accommodating It’s not on the menu but I Asked for a mezcal deals choice cocktail and was accommodated with a mezcal sour. Also ordered a shot of Baileys. Not sure what the $2 was added on for if it was just a shot They have a cool ring swing game to play to fight for a shot My friend and I have been trying to get In touch with the owner or anyone that can help since we feel our tips were altered. I’m positive I didn’t tip over 20%, so we’re trying to get that corrected. My friend receive a notification from the bank that she tipped 40% and she knows that didn’t happen And if the $2 for a “dwink” Is a mistake/overcharge that would be nice to have corrected We have left messages on your google voice mailbox thing please contact us
Zab the bartender is INCREDIBLE. I had such a welcoming experience sitting down at the bar. He had such a friendly vibe, made our entire night a blast, and took care of the whole room with awesome service. 100/10 recommend
This has become one of my go-to spots for visiting friends, casual dates, or just a great meal near Gallery Place Metro. The food options are wide-ranging and everything I’ve tried has been solid (pastries, chicken, coffee, and alcohol!). The space itself is open, modern, and welcoming. Bonus points for the best music playlist I’ve heard in any food hall — ever. Sometimes a vendor might be out of something (RIP cheese curds), but overall, it’s a reliably excellent experience.
Located in Chinatown near the Metro is a small food hall with a bar and several food vendors like TKK Fried Chicken, Kung Fu Tea, and District Dumplings. It's open daily. I went while on lunch break from jury duty around noon on a Monday. It wasn't busy and my food from District Dumplings came within ten minutes. The rainbow dumpling platter was tasty and surprisingly filling. There are many tables for groups and a few are near outlets to charge your phones. There's Wi-Fi throughout. The only complaint is that is smelled of cigarette smoke. With an indoor smoking ban, it caught me off guard.
AC is weak especially you walk further in, try soup dumping, skin a bit thick but still alright, the pork over rice was quite good except that if there is a bit sauce or sour pickle to mix with rice would be better, forget about the spicy beef soup noodle, besides spicy, it was no taste, noodles was mushy, beef had no flavor that you couldn't tell it was beef. The coffee from next store was good.
The food was alright there, definitely more of a slow/ fast food type of eatery. Food wasn't that good honestly, best thing was the chicken fingers. But the bar has some fun drinks to try. A little pricey but can be a fun little spot to go to for some food and a drink. Plus they have a dessert place. Nothing to write home about but options are convenient. Lots room to chill in the place but the bathrooms are just for paying customers, so make sure to get your receipts cause the door code is on there.
I lived in dc for 4 years and never went to Luna(kinda offended) but glad I found it. The food was so yummy. Stir fry ramen with dumplings and boba there are a lot of options to pick from but everything under $30 so the price is really good for the quality of food. I’ll definitely be coming here more often
Great stop! Started with ramen and a boba then finished dessert at tous les johrs Cafe. Great little stop we almost missed out!
